Terms & Conditions
These terms govern access to and use of this website, subscription to the newsletters, and the first contact regarding advisory services. They are written to be read, not to hide anything.

01Site owner
This website is a personal and professional space owned by Domenico Di Siena, with professional address at Calle Utiel, 5 Bajo Derecha, 46020 Valencia (Spain) and contact email domenico@domenicodisiena.com.
Browsing this site means you act as a user and fully accept these terms in the version published at the time of access.
02Purpose and scope
The site is informative and educational in purpose: to present my work in civic design, democratic innovation, technology and gastronomy, to give access to publications and podcasts, and to enable a first contact with those seeking professional support.
Published content does not constitute professional, legal or technical advice applicable to a specific case. Any advisory work is provided solely under an engagement agreed in writing.
03Use of the site
You agree to use the site lawfully and not to carry out actions that may damage or overload it or prevent its normal operation, including automated mass extraction of content and unauthorised access to its systems.
I reserve the right to modify, suspend or withdraw any content or section without prior notice, and to deny access to anyone who breaches these terms.
04Intellectual property and licence
The texts, methodological frameworks, graphic materials, scripts, recordings and other original content on this site are mine, and are published under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International licence (CC BY-SA 4.0).
You may copy, redistribute, adapt and transform this content, including for commercial purposes, on two conditions: credit the authorship with a link to the source and state whether you made changes, and release your derivative works under this same licence.
The licence does not cover third-party material appearing here with permission —photographs, quotations, other people's trademarks and logos—, which keeps its own terms, nor the name and visual identity of Domenico Di Siena, which are not licensed.
05Newsletters and email
The site lets you subscribe to newsletters and write to me directly. To do so you must provide a valid email address and, optionally, a name and a short description of your project or enquiry.
The newsletters include editorial content, notices of new episodes and publications, and occasionally information about my own courses, activities or services. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every issue or by writing to domenico@domenicodisiena.com.
You must be of legal age and provide an address you own or are authorised to use. Your data is not used to build advertising profiles and is not shared with third parties for commercial purposes.
06Data protection
Data controller: Domenico Di Siena, Calle Utiel, 5 Bajo Derecha, 46020 Valencia (Spain), domenico@domenicodisiena.com. Purpose: to manage your subscription, answer your enquiry and, where applicable, assess and develop a professional engagement. Legal basis: your consent, given when you send your email, and the legitimate interest in responding to requests received.
Retention: I keep your data for as long as the subscription or relationship lasts, and thereafter for the minimum period required by law. Processors: email, newsletter-delivery and web-hosting providers acting under a data processing agreement with adequate safeguards.
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability at any time by writing to domenico@domenicodisiena.com, and you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
07Cookies and analytics
This site is designed with a minimal data-collection approach: it uses no advertising cookies and no third-party tracking for profiling.
If privacy-respecting aggregate analytics are ever added, it will be stated on this page and, where the law requires it, your prior consent will be requested.
08Links and external projects
The site links to my own and collaborative projects and platforms — publications, podcasts, spaces and tools among others — which may have their own terms of use and privacy policies.
I accept no responsibility for the content, availability or practices of third-party sites reachable from here.
09Advisory work and engagements
The first contact is free and creates no obligation for either party. The modes described on the site are indicative: every engagement is designed to measure.
The scope, timelines, fees, confidentiality terms and ownership of deliverables for each collaboration are always agreed in a specific proposal or contract, which prevails over these general terms.
10Liability
I work to keep the published information accurate and up to date, but I cannot guarantee the absence of errors or uninterrupted availability of the site.
To the extent permitted by law, I accept no liability for damages arising from use of the site, from decisions taken on the basis of its content, or from service interruptions beyond my control.
11Changes and governing law
I may update these terms to reflect legal or operational changes. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with its last-updated date.
These terms are governed by Spanish law and applicable European Union regulations. Any dispute shall fall to the courts of Valencia (Spain), unless consumer legislation establishes another jurisdiction.
